# Server Rules

<table data-view="cards"><thead><tr><th></th><th></th><th></th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td><strong>Rule 1:</strong> Be Respectful</td><td><ul><li>Treat all members with kindness and respect</li><li>Avoid using offensive language</li><li>Don't engage in personal attacks</li><li>Don't harass others</li></ul><p><strong>This includes but is not limited to:</strong> <em>Bothering people even after they tell you to STOP, Constantly killing them if they don't actively want to PvP, TP Killing, Begging.</em></p></td><td></td></tr><tr><td><strong>Rule 2:</strong> No Griefing or Stealing</td><td><ul><li>Do not destroy or take other players' creations without permission.</li><li>Even if land is unclaimed, <mark style="color:red;"><strong>DO NOT</strong></mark> take another player's items.</li><li>If a Pokémon spawns on another player's claim, it is their call as to what happens with it.</li></ul></td><td></td></tr><tr><td><strong>Rule 3:</strong> No Cheating or Hacking</td><td><ul><li>You are not allowed to use any unauthorized mods, cheats, or hacks that give you an unfair advantage over other players.</li></ul><p><strong>This includes but is not limited to:</strong> <em>Hack Clients, X-Ray, Macros, Auto-Clickers, Auto-Joiners.</em></p></td><td></td></tr><tr><td><strong>Rule 4:</strong> No Spamming / Advertising</td><td><ul><li>Avoid excessive amounts of messages</li><li>If you are hacked or your account has been compromised to post spam without consent, your account will be <mark style="color:red;"><strong>instantly banned regardless.</strong></mark></li><li>Keep messages in Discord within their designated channels.</li><li>You are NOT allowed to advertise on the server. </li></ul><p><strong>This includes but is not limited to:</strong> <em>Discord Servers, Minecraft Servers, Products, YouTube/Twitch Channels not explicitly playing on our server at the moment.</em></p></td><td></td></tr><tr><td><strong>Rule 5:</strong> Keep Discusisons Appropriate</td><td><ul><li>Avoid in discussions or sharing content that is explicit, vulgar, political, discriminatory, controversial, or otherwise offensive.</li><li>Keep conversations family-friendly and inclusive at all times. </li><li>You must keep all public conversations in English. Any other language must be taken to DMs.</li><li>Avoid disruptive arguments, drama, or public disputes. Try to resolve the issue privately, and more importantly, calmly.</li><li>You are forbidden of speaking of or mentioning self-harm, no matter if it's you or other people, or if it is implied to be a joke.</li><li>Items/Pokémon put on GTS or wondertrade must follow theses rules as well. No inappropriate nicknames.</li><li>Racism, ableism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, and any other kind of discrimination will <mark style="color:red;"><strong>NOT</strong></mark> be tolerated, and will receive heavy punishment.</li></ul><p></p></td><td></td></tr><tr><td><strong>Rule 6:</strong> No Excessive Swearing</td><td><ul><li>Mild swearing will generally be tolerated, but keep it to a minimum and be mindful of other people who may be sensitive to such language.</li></ul></td><td></td></tr><tr><td><strong>Rule 7:</strong> No Impersonation</td><td><ul><li>You are not allowed to impersonate anyone on Cobbleland.</li></ul><p><strong>This includes but is not limited to:</strong> <em>Other players, Staff Members, Other Individuals.</em></p></td><td></td></tr><tr><td><strong>Rule 8:</strong> Keep your Nickname Readable</td><td><ul><li>Your nickname must be readable, as we have to be able to address you somehow or click your name to DM you.</li><li>Empty nicknames or nicknames with invisible symbols are forbidden.</li><li>If you are seen with a nickname that goes against rules, a Staff Member may ask you to change it, or change it themselves.</li></ul></td><td></td></tr><tr><td><strong>Rule 9:</strong> Respect Staff and their Decisions</td><td><ul><li>You must follow any and all reasonable instructions by Staff Members.</li><li>You must respect decisions made by Staff. Arguing will only make a situation worse.</li><li>You must be patient with Staff Members.</li><li>Do not ping Staff Members on Discord, or send them a DM unless explicitly given permission. This extends to both Gym Managers and Gym Leaders, as well.</li><li>If you have a problem/concerns regarding a Staff Member, you can send a DM on Discord to a Manager or Staff Manager.</li><li>If you believe you have been unfairly punished, you may create an appeal in the <a href="https://discord.com/channels/1106028244576260108/1167986225957838948">Punishment Appeals </a>channel on Discord.</li></ul></td><td></td></tr><tr><td><strong>Rule 10:</strong> No Unauthorized Sharing of Personal Information</td><td><ul><li>You are not allowed to share personal information without explicit consent.</li></ul><p><strong>This includes but is not limited to:</strong> <em>Photographs of people, information regarding their personal life, discussing someone else's age or identity, information found through other people, discussion or pressuring others into revealing sensitive information.</em></p></td><td><ul><li>Discussion or sharing of private information will not be tolerated, and will be treated seriously.</li></ul></td></tr><tr><td><strong>Rule 11:</strong> Report Bugs/Issues Immediately</td><td><ul><li>If you find a bug or issue, report it to server staff promptly through either our <a href="https://discord.com/channels/1106028244576260108/1136079633821995120">Bug Reports</a> channel, or by making a <a href="https://discord.com/channels/1106028244576260108/1195971426004512908">Support Ticket.</a></li><li>If it is a bug regarding duplication or any other abusable bug, report via DMs.</li><li>Any other bugs you may report in the <a href="https://discord.com/channels/1106028244576260108/1136079633821995120">Bug Reports</a> channel.</li><li>If you find someone breaking the rules, you may create a report ticket in our <a href="https://discord.com/channels/1106028244576260108/1168508684289179648">Player Reports</a> channel.</li></ul></td><td></td></tr><tr><td><strong>Rule 12:</strong> No Scamming</td><td><ul><li>You are forbidden from scamming in any way or form.</li></ul><p><strong>This includes but is not limited to:</strong> <em>Renaming items to pose as real items for GTS or any other kind of trades (i.e renaming Pokémon Eggs), Making a deal and not keeping your part.</em></p></td><td></td></tr><tr><td><strong>Rule 13:</strong> No Alt Accounts</td><td><ul><li>You are not allowed to use alternate accounts to generate any kind of profit or advantage above other players.</li></ul><p><strong>This includes but is not limited to:</strong> <em>Keeping chunks permanently loaded, getting new Starter Pokemon, Bypassing punishments such as bans or mutes.</em></p></td><td><ul><li><mark style="color:red;"><strong>Breaking this rule will result in an immediate IP-Ban.</strong></mark></li></ul></td></tr><tr><td><strong>Rule 14:</strong> Forbidden Machines/Contraptions</td><td><strong>The following machines are forbidden:</strong></td><td><ul><li>AFK Machines</li><li>Chunkloaders</li><li>Dupe Machines</li><li>Lag Machines</li><li>World Eaters/Enders</li><li>Farms that generate large lag</li></ul><p>Any farms found to violate this rule will be given a single notice to be taken down before action is taken. Some machines may induce immediate punishment (ex. World Eaters)</p></td></tr><tr><td><strong>Rule 15:</strong> Claims</td><td><ul><li>Claims follow the "First come, first serve" basis.</li><li>Maintain ≥ 100 block distance between claims unless you have the explicit consent of the claim owner to build nearby.</li></ul><p></p></td><td></td></tr><tr><td><strong>Rule 16:</strong> Voting</td><td><ul><li>You are only able to vote using your own username. Voting under the guise of another player is strictly prohibited.</li></ul></td><td></td></tr><tr><td><strong>Rule 17:</strong> Farming Caps</td><td><ul><li>You are only allowed to have at most 15 villagers and 30 of each animal type in your base. You may only have a maximum of 25 per unique berry and a maximum of 25 per unique crop, unless a Staff Member has said otherwise. </li><li>Excess Mobs WILL be killed by Staff without warning, and excess berries and crops will be destroyed.</li></ul></td><td></td></tr><tr><td><strong>Rule 18:</strong> Lag-Causing Machines</td><td><ul><li>Machines/Farms that cause lag to either the server or a major amount of people near it WILL be either removed, or cut down partly by staff without warning. Keep your machines lag-free and optimized.</li></ul></td><td></td></tr><tr><td><strong>Rule 19:</strong> Sharing Gym Leader Strategies</td><td><ul><li>You are <mark style="color:red;"><strong>NOT</strong></mark> allowed to deliberately share a Gym Leader's strategy.</li></ul><p>What is fine:</p></td><td><ul><li>Talking to a friend and casually mentioning a Pokémon the Gym Leader uses: "Oh yeah, this Gym Leader uses Tyranitar."</li></ul><p>What is <mark style="color:red;"><strong>NOT</strong></mark> fine:</p><ul><li>Deliberately sharing specific strategies or teams: "This Gym Leader runs a full Sun team, so bring a Kyogre", "This Gym Leader's Ace Pokémon is a Dragon Dance Moxie Haxorus."</li><li>Disclosing the full team of a Gym Leader.</li></ul><p>Any players found breaking this rule multiple times <mark style="color:red;"><strong>CAN</strong></mark> and <mark style="color:red;"><strong>WILL</strong></mark> be banned from challenging Gyms or becoming a Gym Leader, in addition to normal punishments.<br></p></td></tr><tr><td></td><td></td><td></td></tr></tbody></table>
