📋Server Rules

Be sure to read up on all rules before starting your journey on Cobbleland!

Rule 1: Be Respectful

• Treat all members with kindness and respect

• Avoid using offensive language

• Don't engage in personal attacks

• Don't harass others

This includes but is not limited to: Bothering people even after they tell you to STOP, Constantly killing them if they don't actively want to PvP, TP Killing, Begging.

Rule 2: No Griefing or Stealing

• Do not destroy or take other players' creations without permission.

• Even if land is unclaimed, DO NOT take another player's items.

• If a Pokémon spawns on another player's claim, it is their call as to what happens with it.

Rule 3: No Cheating or Hacking

• You are not allowed to use any unauthorized mods, cheats, or hacks that give you an unfair advantage over other players.

This includes but is not limited to: Hack Clients, X-Ray, Macros, Auto-Clickers, Auto-Joiners.

Rule 4: No Spamming / Advertising

• Avoid excessive amounts of messages

• If you are hacked or your account has been compromised to post spam without consent, your account will be instantly banned regardless.

• Keep messages in Discord within their designated channels.

• You are NOT allowed to advertise on the server.

This includes but is not limited to: Discord Servers, Minecraft Servers, Products, YouTube/Twitch Channels not explicitly playing on our server at the moment.

Rule 5: Keep Discusisons Appropriate

• Avoid in discussions or sharing content that is explicit, vulgar, political, discriminatory, controversial, or otherwise offensive.

• Keep conversations family-friendly and inclusive at all times.

• You must keep all public conversations in English. Any other language must be taken to DMs.

• Avoid disruptive arguments, drama, or public disputes. Try to resolve the issue privately, and more importantly, calmly.

• You are forbidden of speaking of or mentioning self-harm, no matter if it's you or other people, or if it is implied to be a joke.

• Items/Pokémon put on GTS or wondertrade must follow theses rules as well. No inappropriate nicknames.

• Racism, ableism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, and any other kind of discrimination will NOT be tolerated, and will receive heavy punishment.

Rule 6: No Excessive Swearing

• Mild swearing will generally be tolerated, but keep it to a minimum and be mindful of other people who may be sensitive to such language.

Rule 7: No Impersonation

• You are not allowed to impersonate anyone on Cobbleland.

This includes but is not limited to: Other players, Staff Members, Other Individuals.

Rule 8: Keep your Nickname Readable

• Your nickname must be readable, as we have to be able to address you somehow or click your name to DM you.

• Empty nicknames or nicknames with invisible symbols are forbidden.

• If you are seen with a nickname that goes against rules, a Staff Member may ask you to change it, or change it themselves.

Rule 9: Respect Staff and their Decisions

• You must follow any and all reasonable instructions by Staff Members.

• You must respect decisions made by Staff. Arguing will only make a situation worse.

• You must be patient with Staff Members.

• Do not ping Staff Members on Discord, or send them a DM unless explicitly given permission. This extends to both Gym Managers and Gym Leaders, as well.

• If you have a problem/concerns regarding a Staff Member, you can send a DM on Discord to a Manager or Staff Manager.

• If you believe you have been unfairly punished, you may create an appeal in the Punishment Appeals channel on Discord.

Rule 10: No Unauthorized Sharing of Personal Information

• You are not allowed to share personal information without explicit consent.

This includes but is not limited to: Photographs of people, information regarding their personal life, discussing someone else's age or identity, information found through other people, discussion or pressuring others into revealing sensitive information.

• Discussion or sharing of private information will not be tolerated, and will be treated seriously.

Rule 11: Report Bugs/Issues Immediately

• If you find a bug or issue, report it to server staff promptly through either our Bug Reports channel, or by making a Support Ticket.

• If it is a bug regarding duplication or any other abusable bug, report via DMs.

• Any other bugs you may report in the Bug Reports channel.

• If you find someone breaking the rules, you may create a report ticket in our Player Reports channel.

Rule 12: No Scamming

• You are forbidden from scamming in any way or form.

This includes but is not limited to: Renaming items to pose as real items for GTS or any other kind of trades (i.e renaming Pokémon Eggs), Making a deal and not keeping your part.

Rule 13: No Alt Accounts

• You are not allowed to use alternate accounts to generate any kind of profit or advantage above other players.

This includes but is not limited to: Keeping chunks permanently loaded, getting new Starter Pokemon, Bypassing punishments such as bans or mutes.

• Breaking this rule will result in an immediate IP-Ban.

Rule 14: Forbidden Machines/Contraptions

The following machines are forbidden:

• AFK Machines

• Chunkloaders

• Dupe Machines

• Lag Machines

• World Eaters/Enders

• Farms that generate large lag

Any farms found to violate this rule will be given a single notice to be taken down before action is taken. Some machines may induce immediate punishment (ex. World Eaters)

Rule 15: Claims

• Claims follow the "First come, first serve" basis.

• Maintain ≥ 100 block distance between claims unless you have the explicit consent of the claim owner to build nearby.

Rule 16: Voting

• You are only able to vote using your own username. Voting under the guise of another player is strictly prohibited.

Rule 17: Farming Caps

• You are only allowed to have at most 15 villagers and 30 of each animal type in your base. You may only have a maximum of 25 per unique berry and a maximum of 25 per unique crop, unless a Staff Member has said otherwise.

• Excess Mobs WILL be killed by Staff without warning, and excess berries and crops will be destroyed.

Rule 18: Lag-Causing Machines

• Machines/Farms that cause lag to either the server or a major amount of people near it WILL be either removed, or cut down partly by staff without warning. Keep your machines lag-free and optimized.

Rule 19: Sharing Gym Leader Strategies

• You are NOT allowed to deliberately share a Gym Leader's strategy.

What is fine:

• Talking to a friend and casually mentioning a Pokémon the Gym Leader uses: "Oh yeah, this Gym Leader uses Tyranitar."

What is NOT fine:

• Deliberately sharing specific strategies or teams: "This Gym Leader runs a full Sun team, so bring a Kyogre", "This Gym Leader's Ace Pokémon is a Dragon Dance Moxie Haxorus."

• Disclosing the full team of a Gym Leader.

Any players found breaking this rule multiple times CAN and WILL be banned from challenging Gyms or becoming a Gym Leader, in addition to normal punishments.
