# Minecraft Launcher

### Step 1 - Install Minecraft

Go to the Minecraft website in order to download their launcher, [click here ](https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/download)to head over to their download page.\

After doing so click on "DOWNLOAD LAUNCHER FOR WINDOWS 10/11". If you play on a different Operating System like a Mac, scroll down and there will be a download link for Macs.&#x20;

### Step 2 - Run the Installer

Once you click the download button, the file will appear on the top right on your screen or in your downloads folder.&#x20;

### Step 3 - Installing Minecraft

After the download is done, click on it . This will open Microsoft Launcher Installer. Afterwards click on the box to accept Microsoft Software License terms and then click on install to begin installing Minecraft.

### Step 4 - Login

When the Installation has completed, you are free to run the Minecraft Launcher. Once you run it, you will be prompted to log into your account. Enter your account details and login, once you complete that, you can close Minecraft.

### Step 5 - Installing Fabric

Go to the Fabric website by [clicking here](https://fabricmc.net/use/installer/).&#x20;

### Step 6 - Choosing Correct Version

Choose the correct version that the server is currently on. In our case you will need to pick **1.21.1** then click on Install. This will install a fabric profile onto your Minecraft launcher.

### Step 7 - Running Fabric Profile

Open your Minecraft Launcher and now you should have the Fabric profile showing on the bottom left side. Now you are free to click on PLAY. This step is required so it loads all the required files/folders.

A warning will pop up, where you are required to check the box. Then click on Play and Minecraft will launch, if successful you will see "Minecraft 1.21.1 (Fabric) on the bottom left. You can now close Minecraft once again and we will start installing Cobblemon.

### Step 8 - Install Cobblemon

Head over to the Modrinth page by [clicking this link](https://modrinth.com/mod/cobblemon/versions), and install the latest version of Cobblemon.

Make sure that you install Cobblemon for **Fabric**. If you download the Forge version it will NOT work. Make sure you choose the most recent release, currently version 1.21.1

You will also need to download the Fabric API mod. [Click here](https://modrinth.com/mod/fabric-api/versions?c=release\&g=1.20.1) to head over to the download page. Download the latest version for whichever version the server is currently on. You can use the filters to change version easily.

### Step 9 - Place Cobblemon In Your Mods Folder

Head over to the Installations tab, and click on the folder icon for your Fabric Profile

A folder will open up and you will see a folder called "mods" open this and place Cobblemon and Fabric API inside of here

### Step 10 - Launch Minecraft

After all this you're all ready to play Cobblemon! Open up your Minecraft launcher once again and click Play!&#x20;

At first your server list will be empty, all you have to do is click on "Add Server" and type in our \
IP: play.cobbleland.com into the text box and click done.
