Before joining, please ensure that you are running Cobblemon on a Fabric client, not a Forge client. Cobblemon will not work if using a Forge client. Additionally, ensure that Cobblemon is version 1.5.
Please use /rules
at your earliest convenience to read up on all of our rules, and be sure to use /discord
to join our Discord server if you have any questions!
Cobbleland is an English only server, however you are more than welcome to use other languages when using /msg
to talk to another player.
Make sure to enable server resource packs prior to joining Cobbleland. This can be done by navigating to the Multiplayer menu, selecting Cobbleland (not joining!) and pressing "Edit" at the bottom. You will want to make sure that your Resource Packs option is as follows:
If you are having issues with installing Cobblemon or joining Cobbleland, please refer to the Installation Tutorial. Additionally, our IP is play.cobbleland.com Once you have successfully joined, choose your realm of choice. We have three main realms, with certain attributes to each of them Mystic: Difficulty is set to Normal mode, includes Cobbleland's extended Pokémon roster.
Union: Difficulty is set to Normal mode, includes Cobbleland's extended Pokémon roster, and numerous custom Fakemon and Paradox Pokemon!
Paradise: Difficulty is set to Peaceful mode, includes Cobbleland's extended Pokémon roster. Once you enter your realm of choice, hit ‘M’ on your keyboard to choose your starter Pokémon! We hope you enjoy your time here on Cobbleland!
Now that you have your trusty companion at your side, let's get you geared up, shall we?
In game chat, type in this command:/kits
. When you do, you will be presented with 3 kits; Starter, Trainer, and Claim. Be sure to grab all three of these, as they will be quite helpful when starting out.
Put on your adventuring shoes, and get ready to explore! Once you use /rtp
, you’ll be out in the wilderness, where Pokémon spawn all around you, and you are free to build and explore!
Phew, that sure was tiring! But now, let’s say you’ve found a wonderful little place you’d like to call “home.” Either before or after you’ve built your base, be sure to read up on the claiming book provided to you along with your trusty golden shovel from /kits
.
To claim an area, which protects it from other players, simply mark the two opposite corners of a shape that you wish to claim. Claims must be a minimum size of 100 blocks, which is at least a 10x10 area. Your claim will either be in the shape of a rectangle or a square, so no claiming triangles or circles. Once you have the boundary of your claim envisioned, simply take your trusty golden shovel and right click the two corners. After each corner has been right clicked, you will have your claim!
Further information on claiming and setting claim permissions will be found in our Claiming Guide.
Now that you've built a base that you can call home, theres a few housekeeping tasks that we should go over.
First and foremost, walk to a safe spot within your base, and use /sethome <home_name>
to create a home location at your feet. Once you have a home, you can use both /homes
to look at your list of homes, /home
to teleport to your home, or if you need to remove a home, you can use /delhome <home_name>
.
Next, play around with our claiming system by using the root command /flan
. While not immediately important, there are a few aspects that may be good to learn about. Using /flan menu
while standing in your claim will bring up a menu of possible things that you can do to your claim. A few examples would be to prevent hostile mob spawns, prevent players from entering your claim, or prevent crops from being trampled. If you have not claimed your base properly, or wish to expand your base, you can use either /flan delete
to remove your claim and begin anew, or use /flan expand
to instead expand the area of your claim, provided you have enough claim blocks.
If you run out of claim blocks, you may either buy more from /store
, /shop
, or earn them from crates. Additionally, you will earn claim blocks after playing set periods of time. Pretty neat, right? Finally, we have /flan list
. This command is extremely helpful if you accidentally forgot to set a home, but made a claim. This command will show you a list of all claims that you have made with their respective coordinates. If you ever need to find your way back, just use this simple command and take a hike!
For a more in depth tutorial on using the Flan claiming system, please refer to the Claiming Guide.
