Raw Mega Essence
Raw Mega Essence is the starting point for all Mega Evolution crafting.
These items drop from Pokémon that are capable of Mega Evolution. Every Mega-capable Pokémon has a chance to drop its corresponding Raw Mega Essence when defeated, making battles the primary way to collect them.
Raw Mega Essence is a core ingredient used in crafting:
If you’re looking to Mega Evolve a specific Pokémon, you’ll want to focus on battling that Pokémon (or any of its evolutions) to gather the correct Raw Mega Essence.

A Dormant Mega Stone is an unfinished Mega Stone that hasn’t been activated yet.
On its own, a Dormant Mega Stone cannot Mega Evolve a Pokémon, it acts as a base that must be infused with more power first.
To craft one, you’ll need the following materials:

Polished Crystals
Polished Crystals are created by stonecutting Amethyst Crystals. Simply take Amethyst Crystals to a stonecutter and refine them into Polished Crystals.
Place an Amethyst Shard in the Stonecutter to get a Polished Crystal Mega Catalyst
A Mega Catalyst is crafted by combining 9 Catalyst Fragments together. These fragments drop from Pokémon that are capable of Mega Evolution, so battling Mega-capable Pokémon (or any of their evolutions) is the best way to collect them.
Combine 9 Catalyst Fragments to create a Mega Catalyst Once you have all the required materials, combine them in the crafting grid to create a Dormant Mega Stone. Think of Dormant Mega Stones as the “shell” of a Mega Stone. Once crafted, they’re ready to be combined with a Mega Core to unlock their true potential.
Mega Cores are condensed sources of Mega energy and are required to activate Dormant Mega Stones.
Mega Cores are crafted by combining 9 Raw Mega Essence of a certain Pokemon. Each Mega Core corresponds to a specific Mega Stone, so make sure you’re crafting the correct one for the Pokémon you want to Mega Evolve.
9 Greninja Mega Essence create a Greninjite Mega Core. Without a Mega Core, a Dormant Mega Stone cannot be completed, both pieces are required to move on to the final step.
Note: Legendary Pokemon, when captured, hold their respective Mega Core.
A variety of Mega Cores you can obtain. Final Megastone
A Mega Stone is the final, usable item that allows a Pokémon to Mega Evolve in battle.
By combining:
you’ll craft a fully powered Mega Stone. Once obtained, this item can be held by the appropriate Pokémon to enable Mega Evolution.
4 Greninjite Mega Cores combined with a Dormant Megastone creates a Greninjite Each Mega Stone is tied to a specific Pokémon (and in some cases, specific forms), so make sure you’re crafting the correct stone before using it.
Creating Skin Specific Megas
On Union and Haven Realm, you are able to create Tera/Nimbus/Toxic Chain mega stones by surrounding the original mega stone with either polished crystal, cheri berry, or pecha berry.
